Associate Account Manager

Suburban Enterprises has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Account Manager! This role will serve as an integral member of Suburban’s leadership teams and will drive collaboration and process improvement across the organization. You’ll partner with Human Resources, Operations, Purchasing, and many other key business units through the company.

What you’ll be doing as an  Associate Account Manager:

  • 1-4 years of B2B/B2C sales experience, including experience outbound calling
  • Consistent track record of meeting/exceeding quotas.
  • Intermediate skills with MS Word and Excel are required.
  • Driven to seek new business and have a natural ability at building authentic customer relationships.
  • Ability to collaborate and interact effectively within a Team.
  • Knowledge in the analysis and adjudication of consumer or commercial credit is an asset.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma is considered an asset.
  • Additional languages are an asset, especially French or Spanish.
  • Strong presentation, strategic thinking, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong work ethic without sacrificing your ability to have fun on the job.

  • Ability to network inside an organization to establish relationships with, and influence key decision-makers and gatekeepers
  • Strong communication, organization, time management, and analytical skills
  • Persistent, self-motivated, and self-assured style

  • Desire and capability to effectively cold call prospects
  • Possesses high awareness of risk and ability to devise mitigation plans
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct
  • Knowledge in current industry software and practices

What you’ll bring to the table as an Associate Account Manager:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 5+ years in account management/sales position or relevant experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
  • Experience in the Electrical, Technology, Automation, or Engineering field is preferred
