As an Automation Engineer, you will play an important role in the design, programming, testing and troubleshooting of drive systems, PLCs and HMIs. Our clients come to us for providing customized industrial solutions that improve their overall operational efficiency and plant safety. What You’ll Be Doing as an Automation Engineer:

  • Provide programming and PLC support using Rockwell and Siemens automation control languages
  • Work closely with customers, Project Managers and vendors
  • Support any technical issues pertaining to the engineered design of the project or the build of controls systems
  • Design and draft diagrams for robots, robot controllers and other machines
  • Diagram logic systems for functions such as sequence and timing control

What You’ll Bring to The Table as an Automation Engineer:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • This role may require employees to operate a company vehicle; must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and engineering software
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Programming experience with Rockwell, Allen Bradley, Siemens and other controllers
  • Electrical design and code knowledge including NFPA, NEC and UL and the ability to read blueprints
