Suburban is looking for an IT Support Technician to deliver high quality customer support and detailed work. This position provides technical help through phone calls, emails, remote support, and desk visits. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and succeed in an ever-changing environment. Are you up for the challenge?

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Tracking, prioritizing, and completing all help desk cases in the ticketing system promptly and efficiently
  • Must be self-sufficient in documenting, researching, and resolving issues
  • Responsible for troubleshooting different Windows servers and computers, Apple iOS devices, various software, and network issues
  • Provides a patient and customer first mentality when helping all users
  • Staying current with system information, changes, updates, and trends within the IT field
  • Creating and administering training for general computer needs throughout the organization
  • Authorize new security/permissions, user accounts and discontinuing of accounts
  • Bring strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills to maintain and establish working relationships

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced experience in using and troubleshooting Office 365 programs like Outlook, Teams, OneNote, OneDrive, Sharepoint, etc.
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
