ABC of Wisconsin Recognizes Suburban Electric for Their World-Class Safety Performance
[Appleton, WI]: On February 13th, Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin named Suburban Electric the winner of the 2019 Safety Award of Excellence (Large Contractor) at their annual conference. The award recognizes companies that have incident rates for total OSHA recordables and lost workday cases at least 25 percent better than the industry average. In addition, the winners must have a model safety program and an impressive past safety record.
“Every single team member had a part in this great accomplishment,” says Nathan Fritsch, Safety Manager at Suburban Electric. “We are stronger as a team!”
“We are honored to receive ABC’s 2019 Safety Award of Excellence,” Suburban Electric President and CEO Perry Schisel said. “It reminds us that all the training and dedication to keep our team safe is getting us closer to our ultimate goal, zero injuries. We believe that every injury is preventable and that every single team member should return home to their loved ones the same way they left, without a scratch.”
For the past three decades, ABC of Wisconsin has recognized hundreds of members for their commitment to safety with the ABC of Wisconsin Chapter Safety Awards Program. The most impressive group of awards given out by ABC of Wisconsin are the Safety Awards of Excellence. These are presented to one member in each of the three categories: Small Contractor, Mid-Size Contractor and Large Contractor. The other companies that were recognized for the 2019 Safety Awards of Excellence from ABC of Wisconsin include Durand Builders Service, Inc. (Small Contractor) and KSW Construction Corporation (Mid-Size Contractor).
