The Role – Electrical Estimator

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing estimates, and collaborating with project managers to ensure seamless execution. Your expertise in electrical systems, strong analytical skills, and ability to navigate complex projects will help us deliver top-quality results on time and within budget. What You’ll Do

  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects.
  • Maintain files of working documentation as back-up for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers through direct contact, websites, price lists, etc.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and visits sites of proposed projects; take accurate notes such as ceiling height, level of difficulty, distances and overall conditions which affect installation and bid take-off.
  • Work consistently within estimating process; calendar invite, bid checklist, pre-bid meeting, estimate production, proposal methodology, bid review, delivery, and Client Resource Management tracking.
  • Work under deadline pressures in an efficient, composed, and calm manner.

 

What You Bring (Required Experience)

  • High school diploma or equivalent (HSED, GED).
