Install Technician

  • Demonstrates ability to consistently perform to targets within budget, on time, and in a safe manner.
  • Assists in setting targets for other team members that accomplish project and divisional results.

  • Brings ideas for future opportunities and/or additional work to direct manager.
  • Maintains a professional, courteous, and helpful disposition when interacting with customers, team members from any department, or outside contractors.

 

SAFETY

  • Adheres and holds peers accountable to all safety policies and practices (Ex: Wear steel toed shoes, hardhat, gloves, and safety glasses when required).
  • Participate in daily Safety Huddle before starting assignment.
  • Reports safety hazards to Tech II’s/Foreman immediately.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • A valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance
  • Must have knowledge of basic computer programs (Ex: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions and apply common sense when needed.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math functions.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Must be certified/willing to complete once employed:
  • CPR and First Aid
  • OSHA 10
  • NFPA70E training

Preferred

  • Previous experience bending conduit and threading pipe.
